This Privacy Notice describes how Clinical Oral Health, LLC d/b/a ToothScience (“we,” “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and otherwise processes personal data collected through our websites, social media accounts, email communications, and other online interactions (collectively, the “Sites”), when you purchase products from us, or through other interactions you have with us online or in person.

The Privacy Notice applies to personal data we collect about individual consumers as well as personnel of business customers. However, it does not apply to personal data we collect about current and former employees, job applicants, or other individuals who interact with us for employment-related purposes. How We Collect Your Personal Data

We may collect your personal data from:

  • Your interactions with us, such as when you register with us at your dentist’s office, make an online purchase from us, sign up for a subscription, subscribe to our newsletter, take our surveys, post reviews, and/or otherwise communicate with us in-person, over the phone, or via email or other channels.

  • From third parties, such as our service providers and marketing partners.
  • Publicly available sources, such as comments and reviews you post on social media.

What Categories Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data about you:

  • Contact information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  • Commercial information, such as your transaction history or subscription status.
  • Internet activity. When you use our Sites, we may automatically collect information about you and the device you use to access our Sites, such as your device’s IP address, device identifier, web browser type and version, webpages visited, and your general geolocation based on your IP address.
  • Other information you choose to provide, such as information you provide when you contact us, complete surveys, or leave reviews on our products.

How We Use Your Personal Data

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Providing our products and services to you. We may use your personal data to fulfill your purchase orders and provide other services to you that you request from us.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties who use your personal data for their own purposes.   • Other entities in connection with corporate sales and acquisitions. We may disclose your personal data to third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, or in the event of bankruptcy.

We may disclose your personal data if, in our sole discretion, we believe it reasonable or necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii) prevent illicit or unethical activity, (iii) protect and defend our, your, or others’ rights, property, safety, or interests, (iv) detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, misuse of the Sites, or other violations of law; or (v) for other legal, safety, or security purposes.
  • The public. If you post comments or reviews on product pages, blog posts, or other webpages, the information may be shared with the public and may be read, collected, or used by other users or the public.
  • With your consent. We may share your personal data with your consent.

Automated Data Collection Technologies

Our Sites use cookies and similar automated data collection technologies, such as pixels (“Cookies”). While the cookies we use may change from time to time, they generally fall into one of the following categories:

  • Essential Cookies. These Cookies are necessary for the Sites to operate and load and for users to view content and access their accounts.
  • Personalization Cookies. These cookies help us remember you and personalize features and content for you on the Sites.
  • Analytics Cookies. These cookies help us compile statistics and analytics about the use of our Sites. For example, we may use Google Analytics to better understand how our Sites are used.   • Advertising Cookies. These cookies are used to display digital advertising on our website and on third party websites. Some of these advertisements may be interest-based, meaning that they are tailored to your interests based on your use of our Sites and on other websites over time.

Some of the third parties we work with participate with the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") and Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI"). The DAA and NAI provide mechanisms for you to opt out of interest-based advertising performed by participating members at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org. Opting out of interest-based advertising will not opt you out of all advertising, but rather only interest-based advertising from participants in those programs.

You can choose to disable or delete cookies using your web browser settings. Please be aware that if you disable or delete cookies, our Sites’ functionality may be impaired.

Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) feature. At the present time, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

Your Choices

Opting out of marketing communications: If you do not want to receive marketing emails or texts from us, you may unsubscribe by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link that appears in the marketing emails you receive from us, texting “STOP” in response to a marketing text from us, or contacting us using the information that appears in the “Contact Us” section below. Please be aware that, even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails or texts, you may continue to receive emails or texts from us concerning legal and other important matters.

Supplemental U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Residents of certain U.S. states that have adopted generally applicable privacy laws may have the following rights regarding personal data:

  • Right to Access. You may have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to access the personal data.
  • Right to Correct. You may have the right to request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Right to Delete. You may have the right to request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to Opt Out. You may have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal data for (a) targeted advertising; (b) sales of your personal data; or (c) profiling that produces significant effects.

Our Sites may contain links or references to the websites of third parties. We are not responsible for the data collection or privacy practices of third parties. If you choose to visit a third party’s linked website, the use of any information collected by that website will be governed by the privacy notice of the operator of that website, and not by this Privacy Notice. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of the operators of any third-party website prior to using the website.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect about you. However, it is impossible to guarantee the complete security of your personal data. We encourage you to use caution while using the Internet.

Where We Store and Process Your Personal Data

Our Sites and services are intended for residents of the United States. However, if you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that information we collect through our Sites and services may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Sites and services or by voluntarily providing your information to us, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States.

Children's Privacy

Our Sites are not intended for use by, and we do not knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of 13. If we determine that we have received information from an individual under the age of 13 without the verifiable consent of the individual’s parent or legal guardian, we will take steps to delete such information. If you are aware of an individual under the age of 13 providing his or her information to us without parental or guardian consent, please let us know using the contact information in the “Contact Us” section below.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

We may make changes to this Privacy Notice. If we do, we will notify you by posting the updated version of the Privacy Notice to our websites and attempting to notify you if and as required by applicable law. We encourage you to check this page regularly to stay current on our privacy practices.
